Yorkshire-based singer and songwriter Carolynne has released of her debut solo EP ‘Coming Back To Me‘, out today, which includes the single of the same name. Having performed at festivals and venues across the UK, enjoyed extensive radio play and national press coverage, and been the first country artist to take to the X Factor stage, this release of brand new songs follows her previous singles ‘Take the Keys’ and ‘I Love You But Shut Up’.
The EP also includes her cover of The Supremes’ track ‘Stop in the Name of Love’ On her decision to record this country-influenced take on a classic song, Carolynne said: “‘Stop in the Name of Love’ was chosen for the EP because my Nannie June loved the version I did on Terry Wogan’s show. My Nannie introduced me to country music, so this was for her.”
